While only a visitor to Salt Lake City, I am a huge fan. I look forward to visiting for sports in the winter, a special occasion – any opportunity! I only spend a few days at a time here, so here are my top stops when visiting for a long weekend, where get the maximum eye candy and likeliness to take beloved treasures home.
Salt & Honey Market
926 E 900 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84101
Handicrafts and designs made by local artisans and makers, and curated vintage collections. I could and have spent hours in here.
Central Book Exchange
2017 1100 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84106
I LOVE a pre-owned book. Central Book Exchange has a decent selection of books organized by category. It also happens to be neighbors with one of my top SLC vintage stores…
The Village Vintage Interiors
2015 S 110 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84106
With it’s proximity to Central Book Exchange and tea (and coffee) establishments, curation of vintage items, and the fact I have yet to walk out of here with a new treasure, this would be my top stop if I could only visit one vintage store during a visit.
Haight & Ashbury Home
1357 S Main St, Salt Lake City, UT 84115
Beautiful collections of mostly vintage and antique home items. There were a lot of big items I would have also loved to take home had I been a local.
Abode Vintage
3976 S 2700 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84124
This quaint shop is rummage city. There are so many treasures held in this one shop and if you’re willing to take the time to dig, you’ll likely go home with a souvenir or two.
And, as a bonus, if you get hungry shopping, here’s a couple of food places I enjoy near my favorite shops:
Pizza Nono
(across the street from Salt & Honey Market)
925 900 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84105
This pizza joint offers gluten-free and cow dairy-free cheese options. <3
Sugar House Coffee
(near The Village Vintage Interiors and Central Book Exchange)
2011 1100 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84106
It has a super location to places I like to go and the tea & pastries have kept me fueled to book and home thrift.
